Treatment Itinerary for a 3-Day Seoul Trip from Hongdae

For a 3-day Seoul trip, a practical plan at Re:berry Hongdae is consultation and main treatment on Day 1, a gentle recovery day exploring Hongdae on Day 2, and low-downtime care or rest on Day 3 before flying. Choose treatments with short downtime, and finish anything with swelling at least 48 hours before departure.

Re:berry Clinic Hongdae

Can you fit skin treatments into three days in Seoul?

Yes, for many treatments. Three days is enough time for a consultation, one main treatment session and a short recovery buffer before you fly. It is not enough for treatments that need a series of sessions or a week of follow-up. The key is to match treatment choice to your timeline and to tell the clinic your dates when you book.

This itinerary assumes you are staying around Hongdae, which is convenient because AREX links Hongik University Station directly with Incheon Airport (about 50–60 minutes on the all-stop train) and Gimpo Airport (about 15–20 minutes). See Incheon Airport to Hongdae for arrival tips.

Before you travel

  • Book ahead: request a consultation slot on your first full day through our Booking page. Weekends fill quickly.
  • Share your history: list medications, allergies and previous treatments, with dates.
  • Pause certain products: stop retinoids and exfoliating acids a few days before if a laser is planned, unless your doctor advises otherwise.
  • Avoid a fresh tan: sunburned or recently tanned skin may rule out some lasers.
  • Check languages: multilingual consultation support is available; please confirm languages when booking.

Day 1: Consultation and main treatment

Morning

Arrive in Hongdae, drop luggage and head to your appointment. A doctor will assess your skin and goals, explain options and give you a written plan with pricing. Re:berry's approach is diagnosis first, so you may be offered a simpler or different plan than the one you had in mind.

Treatment

If you proceed the same day, this is the right time for anything with possible swelling, because it gives you the most recovery time. Options commonly suited to short trips include:

  • Lifting: Ultherapy Prime, Ulthera, Thermage FLX or Sofwave, which usually have little visible downtime.
  • Injectables: wrinkle Botox, jaw Botox or skin Botox.
  • Skin boosters: Rejuran Healer or other boosters; small bumps often settle within one to two days.
  • Tone and texture: laser toning or pico toning, with brief redness.

Evening

Keep it gentle. Skip alcohol, saunas and hot, crowded venues. A relaxed dinner around Yeonnam-dong or a quiet walk is ideal.

Day 2: Recovery and exploring

Most people feel fine on Day 2, but skin may still be a little red or swollen. Use this as a light sightseeing day:

  • Walk the Gyeongui Line Forest Park through Yeonnam-dong.
  • Browse Hongdae's shops, bookstores and K-beauty stores in the daytime.
  • Visit Mangwon Market for snacks, then the river at Mangwon Hangang Park in the late afternoon.

Wear a hat and reapply sunscreen every few hours outdoors. If anything feels unusual, such as increasing pain or swelling, contact the clinic. For ideas, see what to do in Hongdae while recovering.

Optional add-on

If your doctor agrees, Day 2 can include a zero-downtime treatment such as HydraFacial or LDM. Some people prefer to keep Day 2 free so they can return for a quick check.

Day 3: Final care and departure

Use the morning for shopping or a short visit, and allow plenty of time to reach the airport. From Hongik University Station, AREX makes airport travel straightforward. Drink water on the flight, keep skin moisturized and avoid touching treated areas. Our guide on flying after skin treatments covers cabin dryness and pressure.

Which treatments are less suited to a 3-day trip?

  • Thread lifts: swelling and the need for follow-up usually call for five to seven days.
  • Large filler plans: swelling and the small risk of complications are better managed with more time locally.
  • Series treatments: acne programs, contour injection series or melasma toning need multiple visits.
  • Stronger resurfacing: visible peeling may last longer than your stay.

If you want one of these, consider a longer stay or splitting it across trips. The 7-day itinerary gives more flexibility.

Sample plans by goal

  • "I want firmer skin": Day 1 lifting device, Day 2 sightseeing, Day 3 fly.
  • "I want to glow for photos": Day 1 skin booster, Day 2 rest, Day 3 HydraFacial in the morning if approved.
  • "I want softer lines": Day 1 Botox; full effect appears after you get home, in about two weeks.
  • "I want a slimmer jaw": Day 1 jaw Botox; slimming shows over the following weeks.

These are examples, not recommendations. Your plan is set by the doctor after consultation, and results vary by individual.

Where to stay for a short treatment trip

Staying near Hongik University Station keeps travel simple: the airport train, Line 2 and the Gyeongui–Jungang Line all stop there, and the clinic area is within reach. Yeonnam-dong offers quieter guesthouses, while the streets near the playground suit travelers who want nightlife. If you plan treatments with swelling, a quieter base can make the recovery evening more restful. See Hongdae hotels and guesthouses.

Paying and receipts

Pricing depends on the area, shot count and plan, and is confirmed in writing at consultation. Note that the government VAT refund for foreign patients' cosmetic and dermatology procedures ended on 31 December 2025, so it no longer applies to treatments in 2026. Ask for an itemized receipt if you need one for your records. For the clinic address and hours, see our Location & Hours page.

Key facts

  • Main treatment: Day 1, as early as you can

  • Good to know: Book consultation in advance; plans are confirmed by a doctor

Frequently asked questions

Can I have treatment on the day I arrive?

It is possible if your flight lands early and you have booked ahead, but many travelers prefer to rest after a long flight. Dehydrated, tired skin can be more reactive. If you arrive in the morning via AREX to Hongik University Station, an afternoon consultation is often manageable. Discuss timing when booking.

What if I need a follow-up after I leave Seoul?

Ask at consultation what follow-up is expected and how to contact the clinic after you return home. For treatments like Botox, any touch-up would usually be around two weeks later, so plan accordingly. Keep a record of the products and doses used to share with a local provider if needed.

Can I combine several treatments in one visit?

Often, yes. Many combinations, such as lifting with skin boosters or Botox, can be done in a single visit if the doctor confirms they are suitable. Combining saves time on a short trip, but more treatments can mean more swelling. The doctor will balance your goals with your travel schedule.
