Vacumed is a body treatment that typically alternates gentle vacuum (negative) pressure and normal pressure around the lower body, often while you walk or cycle gently, to support circulation. On the Re:berry body menu it is used for heavy, swollen-feeling legs and as part of contouring plans. Sessions usually take about 30–45 minutes. Results vary by individual.

How does Vacumed work?
Vacumed places the lower body in a sealed chamber where pressure is alternately lowered and returned to normal. This rhythmic change, often combined with light movement, is intended to stimulate blood and lymph flow in the legs, hips and abdomen. Many patients describe a light, pleasant feeling in the legs after a session.
Who is it used for?
- People whose legs feel heavy or look swollen by the end of the day
- Those with mild cellulite or uneven contour who want a gentle option
- Patients combining body programs such as ONDA Body or Revinas
Vacumed does not replace weight loss or medical treatment. Unexplained, sudden or one-sided swelling needs medical evaluation first. See our lower-body swelling page.
What happens during a session?
You step into the chamber up to the waist, and a seal is placed around the body. The device then cycles pressure while you walk gently or pedal at an easy pace, depending on the model. Most people find the sensation comfortable, describing light pulling around the legs and hips. Afterward, you can usually return to normal activities straight away. Drinking water and taking a short walk, for example along the Gyeongui Line Forest Park, are common suggestions.
Who should avoid it?
The doctor screens for conditions such as pregnancy, deep vein thrombosis, serious heart or kidney disease, uncontrolled blood pressure, severe varicose veins and open wounds. These may make Vacumed unsuitable.
How many sessions are needed?
Because effects are related to circulation, sessions are usually repeated as a course, often one to three times a week for several weeks. Some patients feel lighter after early sessions, while contour changes, if any, tend to be gradual. Our guide on Vacumed for lower-body swelling explains planning in more detail.

Related questions
Does Vacumed help with cellulite?
Vacumed is mainly a circulation-focused program. Some people find their skin looks smoother as swelling reduces, but it is not a dedicated cellulite cure. The doctor may combine it with other body devices for contour concerns. Results vary by individual.
What should I wear for Vacumed?
Comfortable clothing is usually recommended, and the clinic may provide a garment. Bring socks and avoid tight jeans. Ask the clinic when booking so you can arrive prepared. Removing jewelry around the waist and legs is also helpful, and you may want to bring water to drink after the session.
Can I combine Vacumed with Revinas?
Yes, Vacumed is often paired with Revinas or other body treatments in a plan. The doctor sets the order and spacing so each treatment has a clear role and your skin and circulation are not overloaded. Sessions may be on the same day.
